Access: By train - About a 5 minute walk from Nishitetsu “Kitano” Station on the Amagi Line
By car - From the Kurume Interchange off the Kyushu Expressway, turn right after crossing Aikawa Ohashi Bridge and drive upstream along the Chikugo River Bank Road for about 10 minutes; OR from the Ogori Interchange off the Oita Expressway, turn to left at the interchange exit and drive straight for about 10 minutes

During the flowering season in October, about 500 thousand cosmeas bloom across a roughly 4 kilometer (2.5 mile) stretch along a bank of the Jinya River. On weekends and holidays during the flowering season, a 2 kilometer area becomes a pedestrian road, and visitors can enjoy cosmea while relaxing.
