Kurume Cycling Family Park is a 2.78 hectare (nearly 7 acre), bicycle-themed park built on the east side of Kurume Bicycle Racetrack where families can freely and easily enjoy a half to full day of recreational cycling! On the grounds, visitors will find various Cycling Courses (such as the Funny Bike and BMX Courses) to enjoy, and an “Adventure Square” with the “Mischievous Children’s Dream Castle” (a children’s play castle), a nine hole putt-putt golf course, and “Flexi-poles”. ●Course Characteristics *Family Course: One lap = 480 meters (about 1575 feet). A family-oriented course with a variety of funny bikes to enjoy. *BMX Course: One lap = 280 meters (919 about feet). A dirt course with hills where riders can experience a sense of speed. Helmet and protective gear required. *BTR Course: One lap = 160 meters (about 525 feet). A course that demands greater technique. Helmet and protective gear required. *Funny-bike Corner: A corner featuring unique bikes, including the most cutting-edge unicycle currently available. ※ In addition to its regular operating days (Saturday - Monday and holidays), Kurume Cycling Family Park is open exclusively to groups on Thursdays and Fridays. For groups of 10 or more people, the “Half-Day Exclusive Use” Pass (5,000 Yen; includes admission fee) is a bargain since it includes use of the putt-putt golf course! Please make reservations at least one week in advance.
