A famous vineyard where people flock from far away for diverse varieties and the hospitality of the owner. Including those that are sold out, they grow over 15 diverse varieties in a season. Garnering lots of attention with a name that has a strong impact is the "Yousei no Chikubi" (Fairy's Nipples). It is a white grape with a thin and long shape, with lots of fruit packed in on a single bunch. It's said to take five times as much effort to grow as Kyoho and is also a little expensive, but the owner Takayama Kazuzo-san says that "Once they try it, everyone is convinced to buy it".
Takayama Kajuen, which located a climb along the road next to the Ishigaki Shrine, has rare grape varieties and is a famous mountainside spot where people gather. You can also have a barbecue at the flowering garden, which is also a famous spot for Tanushimaru garden viewing.
