It's the height of summer here in Kurume.  In such hot weather, don't you want to cool off with a cold and tasty gelato?
In its 7th year, Kurume’s "Gelato General Election" lets you enjoy rare and special gelato made from local produce such as Amaou (the king of strawberries), black sesame, Kyoho grapes, buckwheat, and more.  Check out the event details below!
(Fun fact: Prefectural Road no. 151 and the roads branching from it in the Minou Hokuroku area are also called the "Minou Hokuroku Gelato Road." )

Event Details 
Event schedule: The 7th Gelato General Election July 27th (Sat.) to September 30th (Mon.), the Gelato Fair at Roadside Station Kurume August 19th (Mon.) to August 25th (Sun.)
Venue: 8 shops in the towns of Yamamoto, Kusano and Tanushimaru in Kurume City.
How to participate: Buy gelato at participating shops, collect stamps from at least three shops, vote for your favorite gelato, and leave your supportive comments.

The first 10 people who complete their stamps for all 8 shops will get a free gelato and a higher chance of winning prizes in the raffle.
